Normal Heart Rate For Women
With a variance to our lifestyle these days, measuring the normal heart rate for women is still quite the same. Yes, it is. The only difference would be to take into consideration how active your lifestyle is.
Your lifestyle is an important factor to consider. The normal resting heart rate for women would be between sixty to one hundred beats per minute. Now if you are a lady who is active in sports and has been well trained athletically, then the normal heart rate for women like you would be between forty to sixty beats per minute.
However, this would differ in the situation of the normal heart rate for pregnant women. The heart rate differs over the trimesters with pregnancy and so does the heart rate too. For a start it would be around eighty five to ninety beats per minute and this would gradually increase to between one hundred to one hundred and ten beats per minute at the last trimester. The reason for this would be a requirement for inhaling more oxygen due to fetal development. Now, for women who are expecting twins, the heart rate would be slightly higher than eighty five beats per minute. Thus such situations would be considered the normal heart rate for women who are pregnant.
Maintaining Healthy Normal Heart Rate for Women
There is another situation where there is abnormal heart rate for women. There are situations when women with irregular heart rates, known as arrhythmia would experience irregular heart rates. This can occur for those who have heart rates that are slow as well as those who have rapid heart rates. There are several types of arrhythmias, twelve to what is related and each would require some test before it can be diagnosed as to the specific type of arrhythmia. A very common arrhythmia condition is known as the premature ventricular contractions (PVCs). This particular condition of a skipped heart beat is one that we all occasionally experience. This can occur in people with and without heart disease. In some situations it can relate to conditions of stress, too much caffeine, nicotine or even too much exercise. At times it can be due to electrolyte imbalance. It is also noted that with most people, PVCs are usually harmless and rarely need treatment. Such would not be considered that of the normal heart rate for women.
You would need to be watchful if you constantly drink caffeinated beverages, are heavy with smoking and probably be a health fanatic. These and a few other factors would be reason enough for you to have slightly high heart rate women. The normal heart rate for women as mentioned above would be the target heart rate women who have a moderate lifestyle that is moderate with stress, with the occasional caffeine beverage, minimal or a non-smoker and may occasionally exercise. What would be better would be to regulate your heart rate.
